Prepaid longstay parking tickets can be used in multi-stay ticket parking areas. This saves you the inconvenience of carrying exact change and purchasing a ticket from the ticket machine every day. The cost of a prepaid ticket depends on the fee structure of the car park and the period to be prepaid. Prepaid tickets can be purchased weekly, monthly, quarterly, 6 monthly or annually.

Prepaid parking tickets provide a discount of between 8% and 20% depending on the fee structure within the multi-stay carpark.

When you purchase a weekly ticket it is valid for the whole week (seven days). When purchasing a monthly ticket it is valid to the same date of the following month, for example: 17 June 2012 to 17 July 2012. This method applies to all the prepaid parking tickets.

Prepaid tickets do not guarantee you space in any particular car park and once vacated a car space becomes available for use by other motorists. A prepaid ticket can be used in any Territory multi-stay ticket car park as long as the fee is equal to or less than the fee displayed on the ticket.
