Application form for a police character check
for licence holders in the Australian Capital
Territory.
The Road Transport Authority may require the completion of a police character check prior to issuing a driver licence with certain codes,
an accreditation as a driving instructor or an authorisation to become a
vehicle examiner.
Please be aware that a Police Character Check may
take a minimum of four to six weeks to be processed
by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and returned
to the Road Transport Authority. AFP Processing
times may vary without notice.
