infringements in the Australian Capital Territory.
Examples of traffic infringements include speeding, bald tyres,
unregistered vehicle, reckless driving and other traffic related offences.
Payment must be made within 28 days after the Date of
Service of the notice.
If you fail to pay the infringement notice penalty within 28 days a
reminder notice will be served on you. The infringement notice penalty will be
increased by the amount payable by you for the cost of serving the reminder
notice. The cost of serving the reminder notice as determined by the ACT Government is currently $34.00.
It is recommended that you pay your fine at least 4 days prior to the due date.
If the fine is due within four days, it is recommended that you go to an ACT Government Shopfront
and pay in person.
Fees do not attract GST.
